Boy, this thread went south quick (He He).
Spent a lot of time in Texas, but never lived there. Good people all over this country. Some assholes everywhere also.
Was in Dallas years ago, saw a bumper sticker that said something like:

"American by birth
Southern by choice
Texan by the grace of God"

That about sums it up.
Although, I've only met a handful of Texans who were actually born in Texas.

Thanks! Took a bit of convincing the wife lol. Also kinda a pain to install with myself having shoulder surgery last week, and her being capable of lifting about 20 pounds.... and not knowing how to switch the ratchet from loosen to tighten

Yeah it is a Illinois thing, you know with chicago. Automatically people assume you are from chicago if you tell them you are from Illinois.

No it’s just spray paint. I sanded the chrome and took about 6 very light coats of primer. Then 4 coats of clear

 

Found out I gotta take the girl in for the third brake light TSB soon, urgh-a durgh-a poop! At least it was only a small drip/leak so far.
