I actually got a second truck that she can ride in with more room, 2013 Sierra, and she still complains about this one. I can’t ever drive it if they come with me. Just wondering if it was just mine or if anyone else has this issue lol

My wife puts up with my Gen3, but she doesn’t “get it” at all...she’s glad I have a “hobby with the guys” and that I take shit to the dump in it.

Mine don’t get it ether. She don’t understand why I want a standard, why it’s worth so much, and doesn’t believe me when I say it will last long enough for our great grandkid to pass it on to their kid

My wife doesn’t like the rough ride of mine as well, she’s rarely in it since I do have an f250.

Same here, I’d say there’s about 2-3 good 1st gens I’ve seen in the arkansas/Memphis area which are all stock double cabs.

My Tacoma has had Rose's approval since the day I brought it home. She likes it more than she likes my RX350 go figure. My truck is my "occasional" cruiser and every time I bring it out of the garage and we go places there's always something positive out of her about it.

    It's complicated.
"doesn't want to ride in it ever again" --good, she doesn't have to; problem solved.

There's no explanation necessary; YOU like it, she doesn't have to.

My wife has always liked my Tacomas, last forever and no problems. What's not to like?
It's the other vehicles she doesn't care for.

    Better not mean the truck!

Does she have her own vehicle? If so, why does she even care?

My wife thinks mine is fine for me but finds it to be too "Bulky" in the front. She said if she got a truck she'd get a Colorado or a Ridgeline.

OP should keep the truck keys & title locked away; and keep an eye on Craigslist. She may try to sell it!
