Asked a couple of times, I've included a pic of the rail mounting bracket for the snorkel. Will I be able to mount a rack around that bracket?

Looking at my OEM roof rack, I'd say no...at least not without modding it. I'm sure it's possible you could make it fit with a dremel and some time.

Ok, thank you! I didn't think it would by looking at rack pics online, but in thought worth an ask. If I cut away at anything with a dremel, I'm guessing leaks could/would become an issue. Hmmm, I need one so I'm gunna take a leap of faith

The only place you can get leaks (with the roof rack) is through the holes where the screws mount the rack to the roof. I took the advice of many on this forum and used threadlocker on the screws and put some clear RTV silicone over/around the screws after installing them. I was very generous with it lol. I've had the OEM rack on for about 5 months, no leak issues. I live in RI and we see plenty of rain!

Are you buying an OEM roof rack from the dealer?

Unless you have a better option ;) I see them cheaper on line, with numerous complaint of holes not matching up

OEM is best! I got mine off a Tacoma facebook group member for $100 but used one's don't typically come with hardware (the OEM hardware strips easily). I was going to mention a thread on here that lists the size screws you'll need and can be picked up from Lowe's with some rubber washers that you can cut to size to fit within the channel. But if you get it from the dealer, you won't have have worry about any of that!
