NFL Trash Talkers Thread

Eh. Between a backup QB and the referees hating them, I don't see the Saints doing too well over the next few weeks. Seattle isn't a powerhouse this year, but they're still a decent team. And Dallas & the Bucs have started fairly strong as well.

 

I didnt know nfl football was still relevant. I come from a huge football family. Everyone I know played from youth to as far as each could go. I personally haven't watched a nfl football game in 3 years due to their antics. I just want sports without ANY politics. No matter your opinion you dont show any disrespect to the flag of this nation. How about all those empty seats 2 -3 years in a row.

 

Dallas has started strong because they have played two horrible teams, with Miami up next they will unfortunately be 3-0

That can work two ways, though. On the one hand, a confident team plays better, and starting out 3-0 is a good way to build confidence. On the other hand, an overconfident team can fall apart if they come up against a strong opponent. Not sure the Saints will be a strong enough team to do it this year, though. We'll have to see how stubborn they can be against Seattle this weekend.

Yeah probably, NCAA football is still pretty cool to watch. Look at all the empty seats alot of people arent supporting the nfl anymore. Like I said I was hoping to find someone else who is/ was a fan who shared my views, that's what I was trying to accomplish. I have a hard time supporting an organization who promotes moral decay in our society. That's cool, a bunch of yall are overdosing on that estrogen.

 

Maybe if you're watching the Chargers play.. Most stadiums are pretty full and the NFL is more popular than it's ever been.

You're not going to come into an NFL trash talkers thread and find people who don't like the NFL anymore. If you have a hard time supporting the organization THEN DON'T DO IT. Literally all you have to do is not watch it, or go to the games. Why waste your time in a sub dedicated to the NFL... you're just trying to stir the pot.

Not even close. I dont support it anymore unfortunatly. I dont like how the nfl is run. I dont like the fact that the teams will support some douche who beats his wife or cant pass a drug test when they know its coming. The players do whatever they want & in most cases get away with it. It took a while before I finally gave up on nfl. You & a few others are letting your feelings get the best of you.

 

You must not be aware that for whatever view you have, there is most likely someone out there with an opposing views. It's called balance.

Even as a kid I knew WWF/WWE was a joke. Apparently you weren't too smart back then either! Also funny that you come in and complain about a trash talking thread, but seems like only you are the one allowed to talk trash? If you want to give it, you better take it too.

NFL is making money hand over fist. You just keep thinking there are sooo many empty seats because it supports your narrative. They are doing just fine. Sure there are some trash teams that the fanbase is shaky on right now, like the ones relocated (yet again) to LA, but for the most part the teams doing well people actually go watch play.

Seems somehow your masculinity is threatened because some drama queen kneeled? I don't give a flying f' about Kaep, glad he's gone since he wasn't very good and as I said a drama queen that disrupted stuff. I just want to watch football, not hear you whine about your politics or protest or whatever. On the other hand, I don't care what they do during the anthem. They used to only bother with that during big playoff games and stuff. Don't know why they need it before even damn game in every sport now. The can stand, kneel, breakdance, I don't care. Let's GO!
