Not mine, but I would take an Evo over a Porsche any day lol. Every Porsche owner I've known either had them always on jack stands or was the type that thinks taking apart every nut and bolt and getting them chrome plated is "upgrading" and being a "car enthusiast".

I think of the German cars, I would take a Porsche. They seem to be well built and pretty stout. From what I've heard (on the internet).

BMW > Porsche any day lol.

Lol I need to get mine finished. Got one similar style and color, just not M5. And to be on topic with this thread... converting it to manual 6 speed with an M5 rear differential and aluminum flywheel ;).

Oh god. This can't be good. I don't have a good impression of BMW at all. lol.

EDIT: Although their motorcycles are a forced to be reckoned with.

Yea my brother had an '06 STI and I really like that, but when I test drove the new one I really wasn't impressed. The interior also sucks, but mainly the power just didn't fee l usable. I also figured I should have a rear-wheel drive manual sports car at least once in my life so I settled on the 911.

Yea, my friend tracks a M3 with the inline 6 cylinder, which I really like but I couldn't get the same car as him

Fuji Heavy Industries suck. I just like cheap frankenstein hackup projects haha. I got a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage I'm throwing a 4G64 (already had before but got a cleaner chassis and need some minor engine work) turbocharged engine made from Hyundai (evo clone head) and Mitsubishi parts. Transmission out of an Eclipse, custom axles, etc. I just like being able to not care about screwing anything up and doing whatever with a car lol. That's why I could never have an M series as well. Expensive parts and I'd feel bad about doing heavy modifications to it.

Several years ago I had to jump a fence to get to lunch on time (long story, don't ask) and I landed awkwardly and fractured a bone in my foot. Had to wear one of those giant moonboots for at least 6 weeks, and I had a manual trans Scion tC at the time. Still rocked that clutch pedal just fine even though it hurt at first and every other time I would hit the brake as well with the big ass boot on.

Oh and I still made to sure to eat lunch after I broke my foot...I actually didn't go to the doctor for a few days thinking it would go away on its own. I mean, who breaks their goddamn foot after all

About as cool as having a manual makes you... I know how they both work. I've been driving manual vehicles since my first Honda 3 wheeler in 1985 and own a manual Cobra.

You know...I’ve found that across all borders, cultures, and languages, parts clerk fucks are universally hated. That walk to the NAPA is full of swearing and violent promises that never come true. Builds character tho.

This thread is really making me want to convert my 07 2.7 to a manual haha. Miss driving them so much. I can't stand the retarded shift points and bs with the automatic. I'm not going to spend 100s paying to have them reprogrammed or do other upgrades, because then I might as well just buy a manual trans.
