Anyone else’s wife hate their taco?

Picked up a date recently and it didn't go over well. She called it small and fugly, the taco not my manhood! I ended the date pretty early before she got to that!

 

Haha. My girlfriend loves the truck. She just hates how much attention it gets

 

That's literally insane. I paid $24k for my doublecab 4x4 TRD when it was less than a year old in 2005.

There's really no advantage to a truck this old with that few miles on it. All the rubber parts are dry and cracked as if they had 200k miles, and that low of mileage means it has been sitting stagnant for the vast majority of its life with no oil circulating though any of it's internal parts. That's just as bad for it. All the seals and gaskets are likely bad.

 

Mine hates that I owe her 8k because I wanted to pay cash for it, and only had 20... pphht!

Yes it is insane but it would be neat to say you have the lowest mileage first gen in the country. Truck looked flawless. But I agree that it’s bad for them to sit like that and not be drove

Sure, it'd be neat. But I'm not willing to throw $24k at "neat". I'm not Elon Musk.

I'm sure there's a junkyard out there with a 1st gen with even lower miles... lol

My G/F hated my Clubman she said it all the time when she got in the car however likes the Tacoma. I don,t understand why but then I do not understand women in general.

 

This behavior flies in the face of my British wife!! Unconscionable! I LOVE IT!

 

First wife was against buying a Taco, stupid me i listen and bought a Silverado. Sold that thing 2 years later, divorce her 2 years after that. My girlfriend at the time on 2016 supported my choice of a Taco and loves it as much as i do or more. Loves to go off roading, that is when i knew she was the right one this time around. Just this past week i found a color matched hood with the Skewp and she was thrilled, her words were i love the mean look of them. We are about to hit 3 years of marriage.

 

My wife likes my '03 Xtracab, only as a passenger though since she doesn't have a lot of experience driving a manual and is nervous to mess up my pretty truck lol.

We rented a 2019 double cab TRD Sport and she loved that thing, rides a lot nicer and has all them fancy new features.

 

You see your 1st gen while you’re on the train?! My god, does she take it the second you leave the house?

Luckily my wife isn't the superficial type and doesn't hate on what I drive. Her first car was an ugly ass Mazda 323 Hatch so she knows the struggle.

 

My gf loves mine. The only thing we both dislike is she can’t give me road head cuz of the MT.
