That's crazy you don't rub on the front flaps. I rub all the time on driveways with my 265/70/17's with stock suspension. I want to go to 285's but I just didn't see that being possible, even with a 2" lift.

    Looks good by the way!

Yep, the BP-51 gives 2” of lift and the 2017 SR5 has a 1” lift from the factor, for 3” total. Suppose that makes the difference. But so far no rubbing even when making 3-4 point turns in my driveway.

Has anyone had dealer reflash computer for larger tire size?
    Took 2019 Trd with 285/75 R16s
to have reflash. Dealer said he could not access Toyota system for the tacoma, like it was too new.

Hello all, I have a question that has probably come up a million of times but here it goes.
Looking to upgrade my KO2s from my current 265/70/17 to 285/70/17 on my 2018 TRD 4x4 Sport. My current setup, 6112s bilstein in the front and 1 inch block in the rear. Will I get any rubbing?

With a good alignment you should be fine. Find a shop that specializes in modified tacos and they can do a correct alignment for you

Thanks for the response man. I appreciate the feedback. Another question, what load range did you get on your KO2s? I am scheduled to pick up my new tires on Friday and will be going with the 121R which I believe is a load range E and 10 ply. I've heard that the 10 ply is really rough but I believe that's currently what I have on my 265 KO2s and can't really say they are as "bad" as some people claim. What are your thoughts?

I have the E rated and they feel fine to me personally - but I’ve heard a lot of folks liking the c rated since it’s lighter.
I can’t speak for c rates but the e is solid imo

Then how about a 33x10.5x17 tire? Basically a true 33" tire in a little over a 265 tire 2.jpg DSC02565.jpg width. Don't have to deal with a cab mount chop and isn't too skinny like a 255 tire. Seems like a perfect sized tire for these Tacoma's. Went from a 265/70/17 K02 to these and couldn't be happier!

Have only driven home from the tire dealer which is about 20 miles away. Doing 70 on the highway they are only slightly more noisy than the K02 tires and are probably a little quieter than what I remember from the DuraTrac's that I had on last year. They seem to roll as good as the K02's but are definitely more aggressive. After running both K02 and DuraTrac tires in the past year I think I'm going to be liking these the best. If I find anything else worth mentioning about them after I put some more miles on them I'll post my findings. But I think this tire size is going to be perfect!

For a good read on them check this review out: http://www.fourwheeler.com/how-to/w...-klever-rt-to-the-test-on-some-arizona-rocks/
