get an alignment and have them make your caster around 2, also take off the little flaps in front

The little flaps aren't really a problem for you, but if you move your wheel forward with an alignment that will help

The 17x9, aren’t those the -38mm offset? No lift?

Get to trimmin the plastics. If it rubs an area cut it out. -38 offset wheels are very deep. Rubbing is to be expected.

With -10 you wouldn’t have had that problem btw

Hell, even my -25 wheels didn’t rub with stock tire size. If you want the deep dish you gotta learn to deal with the rubbing:rofl:

265 is the width, not the circumference. The way wheel offset works is a negative offset pushes the wheel further out. The further it sticks out, the more rubbing on the fender and fender liner. Positive offset is the opposite, it pushes the wheel inward. The tire will be more likely to rub on the UCA in this instance.

Your OEM wheels were once perfectly spaced to fit, but you chose to go with deep and wide wheels which have negative effects like rubbing. Research is key to your understanding.

I am going with 16x8 -10 my self, I am hoping to not have any of these problems with mine. I also plan on staying with the stock tire size.

2* caster won’t help him. 2.5 is factory he’s probably gonna need 3-4 degrees and not sure if he can get that with factory UCAs. I hate it when I don’t do my research.

Any lift installed here? Interesting choice with what looks like a stock suspension. You have any more pics? I would like to see some more from a distance and front/back that shows the “poke!”

You won’t. I’ve got that size wheel on 285’s but with a lift but even then nowhere near what OP has

-38 offset on wheels screwed you. Gotta lift, trim or get different wheels now.

The 17x9 with the -38 offset is what makes them stick out so far and rub. I have the 17x8.5 with -10 offset and 305/65/17 tires and not as much poke. Either way, you need to do some fender flare trimming and remove the mudflaps to run them.

This is a top view of what is happening with high negative offset wheels.
The red cross shows where your SAI is. This is the axis on which your tire turns.
With high negative offset, the outside corner of the tire rotates about a larger radius. Thus, moving forward and aft more when turning.

Big difference. Guessing -10 is not a huge difference than stock size?
