Thankful I received the title for my taco today. Got it used just shy of a year ago and I'm glad I didn't have to pay much in interest. Here's to all that own theirs outright and those that will soon!

Not this guy anytime soon, maybe once I'm done with nursing school I can get that snowball rolling. Congrats!

Oh what a feeling....owning your Toyota!

Haven't had a car loan in over 15 years and it is great to just buy them outright!

I wish I could own a car. People keep totaling mine though :(

Six Vehicles in 14 years and only one made it through a full lease.

    1. Mustang (2 Years): Side swiped into a pole by a teenager in a lifted truck who couldn't see over the door to know I was there before changing lanes.

    2. G35 (2 years): Eating at a subway and someone under the influence ran into my parked car going about 40 or so. I was the only car in the lot within a 300 ft. radius.

    3. F-150 (3 Years): Someone got road rage because I honked at him for lagging a good 10 seconds at a green light, punched a dent in my hood, truck made it through the lease though.

    4. Corolla (3 Years): BBQ at my first apartment car parked on the street almost bumper to bumper with a line of 100 others. Person claimed they were run off a road and happened to smash into only my car. We believe he was texting though.

    5. 3rd Gen Tacoma (2 Years): Rear ended on the freeway. I was at a dead stop, car hit me going 35-40.

    6. 3rd Gen Tacoma #2 (current): TBD

Seems you were able to handle a payment. Now take much of what you were paying and pay yourself each month. That way you build up a fund so someday down the road you can sell the Tacoma and pay cash for a new one. Have not had a vehicle payment in years.

All but #2 and the guy who basically got away with #3 (same sketchy area), there's a huge story those two but I don't have enough energy to write it all.

My plan is after I pay my 19 off is to keep putting the same payments away and forget about it untill I need another new one then I can pay it off in one lump sum.
