    Right. After I asked.

I did not know that prior to asking. I’m not surprised he did. But the only way to confirm was ask.

    Must be nice.

I can only do that with metal.

Otherwise my fender snorkel would be done. I’m close to just giving up on the idea and leaving it free in the open wheel well. :anonymous:

I like it. In fact I could maybe glue fan blades to the tire and get some forced induction while I’m at it.

Side note. It’s surprising how flat things look until you actually measure or set something flat.

I thought my fenders were pretty flat so I bought a small hood scoop. Not even remotely close to fitting.

No not quite. I have very wide fenders (6+) so I have a lot of “flat” area to work with. Maybe I’ll just modify a standard snorkel head. Not sure.

I’m not nearly as cool as meso with his own printer so I’m stuck with off the shelf stuff.

Here’s a pic of where I’m thinking. Obviously it’ll be fully sunk down in the fender not just sitting there on the fender.

I’m into that!! I don’t like the giant snorkels everyone has. Something more low key for sure. But not on the driver side

Oh yeah for sure the other side. When in the garage I can’t reach the passenger side. So I jut mocked up on the driver side.

I’m not sure about that ... seems like it would actually hurt more than help. The point is to get above the dust level. The intake inside the fender at least is hidden but putting the intake right at the hood like that just seems like a dust vacuum. But who knows I might be wrong.

Mine’s not covered. I don’t have fender liners or the little scoop thing the stock one has. It’s just open to dirt and mud.

I hate a full size snorkel. So this is a sweet spot between the two. Better than what I have now that’s for sure.
