There's a place in my town called Ron's Transmission, and everything I've heard about them is that they do good work.

Looking to get an alignment here in the Saco area, any suggestions to check with? I see Sullivan Tire offers a lifetime deal, but not with modified suspensions, which I expect to do down the road.

@tracerturbo has a shop in Westbrook. Not sure if he does alignments but I'd assume...?

One thing regardless of where you go would be to make sure it's a true four wheel, and that they're not just doing a Toe & Go

Can you really do a 4 wheel alignment on these trucks? I know thrust angle / alignment can be checked but with the solid rear axle doesn't a rear alignment issue typically indicate a bent frame?

A 4 wheel alignment on a solid rear axle vehicle just makes sure that the front wheels are aligned 100% with the rear wheels. If you don't, you can get tracking issues.

This is an extreme example, but it illustrates the concept:

I think the owner of that truck is guilty of having said "hold my beer" more than once while wheeling in the back 40.

Yeah, it's bad. Generally crabbing from an alignment isn't anywhere near that bad, but it'll still wear tires.

    HA!
If that's all that's broken on that truck, I'd be amazed.

I know someone said they have a shop in Gorham as well. I would gladly go to a TW member if possible, just can't delay long.

I’m in Saco also. It looks like our trucks are twins. Anyway I took my 2003 to Sullivan Tire for 4 tires and an alignment. I told them just do the alignment also. They said they would check out if it needs it first. Picked the truck they said the truck didn’t need the alignment and just charged me for the tires. Nice truck. That interior is a bold choice.

I can't decide if I love it or hate it...

Yes...yes it is. It’s a love it or hate it. Once I made the choice in leather I had to continue with it. The colors I had to mix to paint the dashboard plastic is what I used for the rest of the interior colors. Testors model master, 70% wood, 20% honey, 10% leather. I’ve done all of this by my 2nd payment. Damn you TW for teaching me how to take apart my new truck!! Thank you.

Jim's alignment in Sanford is one of the best around.

We have a 3rd that I’m aware of as well, it’s on rt5 between Garfield and Hubbard.

I was thinking Sullivan, but after thinking about it, I went back to the dealership and body shop because the truck was in an accident in Jan 2017. Currently the body shop is going to cover an alignment as they have no prof they did it back when fixed. The manager isn’t very happy, but they are taking care of me. Oh, they did admit they billed the insurance company for one back then as well.
