I was cursed for awhile there

I actually think one of the rods is bent or something and that's what kept messing the OEM ones up, but since the Dorman ones have a bigger lip on the back they work better, at least in my case.

I also make a point to stick the dry lube straw up in there once a month or so and spray it down, helps it engage nice and smoothly.

Yup, fit great and they are the only ones that haven't broken. I went through at least 4 OEM ones including the originals and some other off brand

You and me both, I have a JL 500w monoblock to install. I'm going to take the plastic interior truck panels off and make a bracket to hold my amp hidden away behind it.

ehh, that would look weird imo. Plus the tire covers pretty much all of that area anyway.

Put the tacoma emblem on it?

Just get the circular plate with the same logo laser/plasma cut in the center. Would look cool imo in the center of the tire.

Lol you guys are weird .....

    Meanwhile, this happened.

I knew that installing new speakers to the factory stereo wouldn't help much at all. So my dumbass took the car because my truck is a part and got a new stereo.

@zero4 i have a problem. I wanted a 4.0m12 battery but they were all out so i bought the fuel impact and fuel hammer drill kit instead for the battery. And i did all of that just so i can run the M12 jig saw (i just bought) longer so i can make cuts in Plexiglass.

Plus I already have a m12 impact on drill (non fuel) so now idk what to do with these. Probably keep the non fuel stuff at my shop
