I put this on lay -a-way over the phone. Today they called me and asked if they could sell it and get me another one. I said sure. They sold five this week.

The G3, that always made me happy that they're still out there and being used. M60 is hardly based on it. It copied the loading mechanism, but that's about it. The main principle of the gun wasn't implemented.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
It's not a permanent thing. They're filling their mil/LE contracts and the civilian market is over saturated. Most people aren't paying Colt prices when they can get/build a PSA for a fraction.

I kind of got the feeling there was more to their decision. Why produce a product there is an influx on the market of.
It’s just going to get twisted as a loss for the 2A.

I think it’s two fold. Might rub gun fans the wrong way BUT they can up production for contracts and it makes them appear to be sensitive to the anti “assault” rifle community.

I’d say more but don’t want to turn this nonsense into more politics then it already has.

I’m just glad I can turn around and say I sold all my guns to private buyers. Because ummm I did, yeah... absolutely did. Nothing to see here, keep it moving.

Local gun shop has the Shield on sale at $249. The Shield 2.0 is selling for $329. The only difference I can tell cosmetically is the grip on the 2.0 is better. Almost like grip tape. Decisions decisions :quickdraw:
