I have been putting off this task for quite awhile. So today I jacked up the MadTaco, pulled the wheels, removed the skid plates and transmission.

I replaced the rear main seal, installed a new flywheel and Marlin Crawler HD clutch assembly.

I will put it all back together tomorrow.

Sounds like good advice, seeing how I can get to them easier now.

    power antenna maintenance
can you even call it that ???

used some wd40 specialist silicon lubricant on a rag and wiped the mast up and down, turned radio off for it to retract and re-erect itself
wiped it down again with the specialist on a rag and repeated step 1

i am not sure if this thing is making abnormal sounds or not, certainly seems as much
if this motor breaks it is gonna cost a huge amount to replace I think, the whole fender AND dash has to come out to get to the back where it connects to the radio plugs, or so I have been told.

maybe its bent slightly from the wind, hitting overgrown bushes, or not having the garage lid up far enough in or out and it just barely flicks the top and does a nasty twang action

so maybe this wd40 lubricant will help to smooth out the workings of the mast a bit, who knows, i certainly do not :(

what type of scope? that looks like very decent resolution
the kind that can check interior conditions of a frame perhaps?

Haven’t posted for awhile. I recently cut up a x-cab camper shell to make it fit my regular cab. The gap between the cab really irked me. I sprayed it with rustoleum and cleared it with spray max 2k. I’ve also added spring helpers, an add a leaf, 2” wheel spacers, shocks, and just buffed the paint up 20E23118-3781-4732-AC00-F214FB78355B.jpg 3DD8A620-40F3-4C97-ADE0-6CD65D3914B8.jpg FC575C1E-6C4E-4704-80F5-CB4A897F18EE.jpg
