I'm a little bitch baby and I get carsick (if I'm not the driver) with relative ease, and I have found that strong mint- gum or altoids- does help calm the stomach. Kinda doubt either would be allowed in a jet though.

Ginger is good for motion sickness. Drink ginger ale or eat some ginger candy or root. It helps calm stomach acid.

Dramamine helps me not get sick on planes or long road trips. Not sure if it works when pulling the g’s you will be though!

Otherwise I’m terrible to fly with. Always making comments just loud enough for children to hear like ‘huh, I’ve never heard it make that noise before’ and gripping the armrest ridiculously tight to instill confidence in other travelers.

Just looked out of curiosity and the TSB is not available for 4 bangers... :(

Haaaa I'm a mess to fly with anymore. Used to not bother me, before the lupus. Now with lupus they hit that pressurize cabin button and I'm clawing for the exits. Sinuses start leaking like a sieve, jaw aches, my teeth ache, ears close up, joints start creaking. I'm so sensitive to that pressure differential now.

Like I want to travel but I also want to just have someone hit me with a tranq dart and stuff me in the overhead and revive me when I'm there.

Allegiant air is sort of like that but no tranq dart and the revival costs extra

Turn it on fan only to help thaw out coils. Might be getting low on freon.

Had the same issue with mine in July...coil would freeze and then freeze up the outside unit. Cleaned the coil (wasn't dirty), but it was low on freon. Since the system was original (24 years) with the old freon type (translation: fucking expensive), I just replaced the entire system. Literal 42% savings even with running a temp 5-6* lower than previous...pays for itself.

Dukes of Air based out of Mesa...I don't normally refer many things, but these guys are truly top notch. No surprises (way too common in the HVAC industry) and quality work. Trane XR (5T split w/ gas furnace) for a touch over $8K, all in. They also charged up my old system at no cost to get us through until the install date...actually ran better than it had in years.
