    What if you uninstall and then install without being hooked up to online so it doesn't prompt an update?

    No. But you can free roam till your hearts content.


    I just picked this back up in Online. They have made some awesome improvements to the online experience that help negate griefing. I haven't had hardly any issues and can actually enjoy playing with friends now! Can't wait for the next big update.

    I just want some single player DLC already. They better hurry up before the PS5 comes out cause I could give a toss about this game cause I'll be playing Cyberpunk 2077.

    I don't think they will do a single player DLC. Online is the future for them.

    Right now you earn 1 full gold bar for each of 7 daily activities online. It adds up fast. I only play about an hour each night except for Sunday Posse night.

    The summer update should be pretty soon.

    Level 120 now although I'm not in as much of a race since you don't get anything except treasure maps after 100.

    Is RDR2 worth buying? Last October I had to make a choice, RDR2 or Assassins Creed Odyssey, I picked Odyssey, been playing odyssey for nearly a year now and am only at 87% done, awesome game!!! Is RDR2 worth it or should I wait till October when the new Ghost Recon comes out?

    For me definitely. RDR1 was my favorite game for years until RDR2 came out. I have been enjoying it since day one.

    I have also recently played all the way thru Assassins Creed Odyssey and Far Cry 5. I loved them both but RDR2 seems more fun to play in longevity. After finishing the single player the online mode always has things to do.

    I like to mostly just hunt and trade and do the daily tasks but when a bunch of us anonymous players get together in our large posse on Sunday nights all bets are off. It is fun when a random player or small posse tries to challenge us and we all go Full Metal Jacket on them.

    If you have a 4K monitor the graphics just cant be beat.

    The update kicks ass. there is so much to do there is no way you could get bored.

    I have all three trades plus a couple of bonus features due to saving up on gold and money beforehand.

    I spent about 6 hours the last two days playing compared to my usual 1 to 2 hours.
