Yes. The Pro with DAI is a $1200 option.

    A few.
Wow! $4000 more than 2019 offroad premium stickered for. They doubled the price of the tech package with the addition of the multi-terrain camera and added about $1500 to the premium package with the additions to the new head unit.

45k for a taco. No thanks. I’d go full-sized for that kinda money. I only paid 34 for mine

Talk about a money grab. You can have a bare bones SR5, or a fully loaded OR. Very little to choose from in between. And zero ability to pick and choose discrete options. Suck it Toyota.

One of the dealers I've been talking to asked for a deposit on the 2020 Tacoma TRD PRO, but wouldn't give me a quote on the price of vehicle...nor the amount of deposit.Ha ha I think they just wanted me to come down there to sell me on a 2019 model.

I asked if I could get me repair back it the price isn't reasonable.. Didn't hear back. Do you ever get that back?

That’s exactly why. They want to sell a 2019, today.

At $45k you’re looking at a loaded out Tacoma OR. To get a full size truck with the same options (and the smallest motor they make) you’re looking at over $60k. This is the way of the world now when it comes to vehicles.

They have a lot better incentives on fullsized. Especially when sales are stale. You can get a crewcab lariat for under 50. And a crewcab raptors in the mid 50’s. Sure fullsized might not be for everyone but it’s a lot more comfortable, luxurious, powerful, and a hell of a lot smoother ride.

Looking at these 2020s and for the body color it says 06V7 and interior color is LB25. What are these?

That’s base. So not all loaded up. Pretty sure it has cloth and no blind spot or anything. But that’s what the real off-road guys want.

Do I get the $500 back? Yes, it's applied to the cost of the truck. If I change my mind, or the order doesn't get accepted, I'll get the cash back

I agree there are better incentives on the full size domestic trucks, but you have to look at comparable options. To get the same options in a full sized truck, you’re looking at an msrp of $61k. Even with the discounts you listed above, you’re still looking at a $55k truck. Compared to a $45k OR with options. And the domestics are all 2019 models. 2020 could be higher.

That lariat is pretty comparable. Only think I don’t see if having is nav and not sure that had a sunroof. Almost everyone and their brother around my parts qualifies for a GM discount. I get supplier pricing. You can walk out with a pretty loaded up GMC or chevy for 45k.

I was just looking to buy a midnight edition titan. Wasn’t fully loaded but had pretty much everything my taco has except nav. Could of got it for around 43. Was 6k off sticker. To buy though would of been another 200-250 more a month and I just figured i’d wait another year. I only pay $325 a month for my taco which is pretty cheap

That one I built for $61k had the sunroof, cameras all the way around, blind spot monitor, adaptive cruise control and fx4 package to make it comparable to the loaded out Tacoma OR. Ford does the same and requires you to purchase a whole package to get certain features. Just want to make sure people know what they are getting when building these things. You can start out at $30k and a few add-ons and clicks later and you're at $50-60k easily.

Yes, I know. And it isn’t just trucks.

The makers that offer discrete options, charge even more.

Yep, you can pick and choose every little single option in stuff like a Porsche or BMW, but you'll be paying a bit more than a Toyota (even a fully loaded one)...
