I had the same one. Worked great even over bumpy/ washboard roads. Then I got a DMM with a X-grip ram mount. That Schoose is a great mount

Thanks. That’s good to know! I’ll keep it in mind just in case.

Another one of @nola_jim 's great products. Behind the rear seats storage organizers. Snap together no drilling or modification required. This thing is perfect and snug.
Goes great with his under the rear seat storage organizers

    Canada Eh!
Ordered a 2020 Pro 6MT in Army Green. Only one in the country so far that just arrived in Port.

On the plus side, this configurations MSRP is $1200 less than 2019 thanks to the now optional DAI. If Toyota Canada's website is accurate, you can only get the 6MT in the Pro or Access Cab OR (in Canada).

Installed full RCI steel skid plates (no fuel tank though). Recent experience at Cleghorn suggested I invest in some armor.

Good call on the armor add on. You not a fan of the flat belly T-case skid?

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Not something I did, something I got.

    upload_2019-9-20_8-54-55.jpg

Frame, road salt, rot, etc. Still figuring out what a "voluntary Customer Support Program" is.

Says I need to schedule an appt. with the local dealer for an inspection, which will take an hour. Trying to think of what the mechanic would do to kill an hour.

<edit> Interesting side note... Talking to the service rep at the local dealership, I learned that they have one mechanic, that they brought back from retirement, who does nothing but completely disassemble older Tacos (that had the frame rot issues) and then re-assemble them on a new frame. Even with all the costs, it's still worth a few kilobucks to them.

Here's a mod that I just did this morning.20190920_105530.jpg Doing a favor for a buddy of mine at his sand and gravel / materials business. Driving up to where he was excavating I met one of his trucks on a curve on its way down. No room to turn around and had to back up all the way to the landing. While making sure I didn't back into the conveyor I backed into a tree. No sheet metal or paint damage thank God but this plastic bumper is toast.
No good deed goes unpunished! :frusty:

Grip safety but yeah, half cocked or not at all might be a better idea.
Not a fan of anything at full cock unless I plan on pulling the trigger. Even grip safties can fail. I'd always rather be safe than sorry. Matter of personal preference I guess. Not dissing just not for me.
