    thats what i used-- the mounting ball on the back of the UG was too big for it though, so i put the semsons mount in the microwave for a few seconds to soften it up, then squeezed the ball into the mount-- very tight fit, but it looks great

    That's a good idea too, I also took a picture of the codes to do my rebate.

    Anyone know if the vehicle information is required for the rebate & if the generated codes are specific to the vehicle it's hooked up too? I'm assuming the codes have something to do with what gauges are available for the vehicle it's hooked up to?

    I ask cause I'll have by buddy take a picture of the codes when he installs the second one I bought for him but was planning to just enter my truck info to save the hassle.

    Anyone use the Instantaneous MPG? It keeps showing (IMO) ridiculous high mpg. like will will be going 30mph and the MPG shows 46, then i was driving around 45mph and the mpg jumped up to over 50mpg on a constant drive of about 10mins. but then i checked my other screen where i have the Average MPG and it shows 13.4MPG as the average. Granted that i've only had this hooked up and driven a few miles only but does it take time for the ultragauge to learn and adjust?

    Don't gun the throttle!! LOL

    The instantaneous reading rates you mpg based on whether you are going based on RPM's. The more RPM = the less mpg..
