Looks like Walmart will delivery a 3 pack free of charge next day for me as well.

I heard report of Mobil One rebate giving people trouble with online orders from Walmart?? Anyone have issues?

Its funny people including the Wal-Mart associate was telling me he uses Super Tech from Wal-Mart. My response was that it's a good oil, but with the $12 rebate from Mobil, it only costs $10.88 for a 5-quart jug of Mobil 1 synthetic, while Super Tech synthetic 5-quart jug costs $15.88, so you save $5 over the least expensive, with the cheapest being the one with the rebate.

I definitely buy mobil when it's the cheapest. Otherwise supertech synth is fine too. Brand doesn't matter

That is why I stock up, because oil doesn't expire and who knows if Mobil will continue to offer us these $12 rebate each year. I have about 10-5quart jugs of Mobil 1 and 5-5 quart jugs of Pennzoil synthetic, so I don't plan on needing oil in a long time if they don't offer the rebates in the future. :D

I wonder how/when you got the e-check. I'm still waiting for mine, maybe been a week or two since purchase from Wal-Mart and submitting the rebate.
Last time I did the M1 rebate was a while ago but back when getting mailed a physical check was the option and I recall that taking months to send.
Guess I'll be patient and find out.

Reason for the hiatus of Mobil 1 was getting a good deal on another oil I've since ran out of for another car. (Motul 8100 X-cess 5w40)
I feel like I read on Rennlist people complaining of Mobil 1 (the European formula one at least) being too thin and causing smoke, but I kind of ignored that.
Figured anything is better than nothing; previous owner had a beat up Fram filter on the truck...(just installed a Toyota 90915-YZZD3, 4.0 V6)

Supertech is 12.88 near me and the associate probably gets another discount on top of it, and doesnt have to worry about the rebate.

Yeah, even the guy in the video testing all the different oils said he would use Super Tech over all the other "brand name" oils. The Mobil 1 3-pack only costs $65.22 online, which comes to $21.74 per jug - $12 = $9.74 for a 5-quart jug of Mobil 1 synthetic = a no brainer for me.

The E-check still takes many weeks to get- I don't know if it actually speeds up the process more than a few days. I did it once and it didn't seem to make any difference vs the prior year getting a paper check. I did the mailed check this year and I'd guess it took 6-8 weeks. The only difference with the e-check may be a few days due to mailing the paper check.

it doesn't show Walmart on the list of approved vendors or whatever, if I go in to the store and buy it (instead of online) can I still get the rebate by uploading the ticket for it?

Also is there a limit to how many you can buy? I don't see that any place

Looks like rebate ends Sept 30, so trying to get it done quickly
