FWIW handling any kind of chemicals bare handed can contribute to liver cancer as well. I worked with a guy who washed his hands in mineral spirits every day and died of liver cancer in his 40s

me almost every day at the high school I went to in Oregon...moved there in 10th grade and didn't know a soul. I actually started to eat lunch in the bathroom because I didn't want people to see me eating alone lol :( I eventually made a few friends but.. then we moved again.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
You have an incredibly nice Klipsch setup as I recall.

Selling stereo systems was easy money for a student in those days. Home entertainment consisted of a 19-25" RCA or Zenith TV with some console stereo with 33 RPM changer. Direct drive turntables were new. A Sony Betamax sold for $995.00. VHS had just arrived with the freeze frame feature that sold for $1,200. This was before the Best Buys and Box Box discount stores. Walmart was basically selling portable record players.

Everything that used a magnetic cartridge was considered high-end audio at the time. I could roll a new system out the door for $1,800 to $2,500 at 5% commission while the store had a mark up of 35-40%. It was good money for a young guy in his early 20s.

Everybody had to have a system that had bigger speakers than their neighbor. Klipsch Heresey, Cornwalls, and the JBL 4311 studio monitors were the top sellers at the time.

Once in a while a Dr. would come in and buy something in the Belle or K-horn range. We sold a few Atari games on the side -- but they were early and really primitive.

I remember reading a trade magazine one day at work when these little computers from Apple and Commodore appeared on the cover. I knew business would need those for bookkeeping. I had no idea they would become anything beyond being used to manage inventory, sales, and some office use. I decided to dive head first into the new world of business computing. My world started changing, for the better, soon afterward.

Learning TCP/IP when it came out was one of my better moves.

Especially middle & high school, kids are cliquey as hell. I mean, people are in general but at least as adults we starts to understand what it's like to be empathetic lol. A lot of people talk fondly about their high school years, I wouldn't go through them again for all the money in the world.
