Well I’m gonna be doing a full wash, strip, clay bar and wax tomorrow because I couldn’t get all of the Upper Peninsula off of my truck. 1.5 hours of power washing and two touchless automatic washes later and she still has some caked on...

I’ve never detailed before so it will be a learning experience.

Wow. A bunch of other peoples opinions. Again, tell me that I have to and watch me not do it. Like anything else, it's a personal choice. I'm comfortable enough with mine to keep it half cocked if I choose to. That doesn't mean it's wrong because you're not comfortable. Have a great day, tho.

 

I put the Fab Fours Premium rear on my 2017 SR5 4x4 after backing into a tree at Lake Tahoe this summer. Only problem I had was getting the trailer light plug to fit properly, there’s not enough slack in the wiring harness to rotate the plug for the vertical orientation. Still not 100% satisfied with the fit. Plug also doesn’t quite clip in firmly either. I’ll need to follow the harness further along the frame than I did and loosen it a bit more, just need a 1” or so.

Other than that, I like it!

 

Where can i get those size Ammo Cans, and how did you mount them?

 

Best place for a decent price is an army/navy surplus store.

They look similar to Mk-19 or 25mm cans. Hard to tell in the pic.

 

These are the cans, they mount with the Hondo t nuts and you have to line it up and drill two holes through outside of can and bolt to side rail. So easy a caveman can do it (I did).

Damn, that’s a lot of miles in that short period of time. I’m the exact opposite, got it in Feb 2019 and only have 3100 miles on it. I’m never home to use it.
