Trail Run- Backcountry San Diego 9-18-10

Well we are going to be back at it again folks! I just got a request to post another Trail Run. So here it goes!

We, the SocalTacomas Truck Club are going to be hosting another Backcountry trail run on Sat SEPT. 18th and I am putting this out there for anyone who wants to join us for another fun-filled day of Trails and sand and Etc., etc. etc.

So if you posted up on the last one saying to let you know when we will be going out again, this is your chance to join some of the funnest guys there are that wheel!

Everyone always says, " awh man wish i could have gone with you guys, looked like fun" Then this is your chance to get out with us and have some pic's of you and your truck taken and even be in one of our videos!

we will wait for a few mins, but after that we are leaving you behind.

I have found lots of small trails all over this area so we will have plenty to do.

Dont forget to bring snacks and plenty of drinks(Water, soda, energy drinks, etc.) There is a place to by food and drinks at the meet place!

What up David? When you gonna make it back out here to run the trails with us? we have found so many new trails that are open now! Yuo going to go to Pismo?

 

I went back in June i think, with Manny, James and some other members.
I'm going to go to the AZ trail run on that day. Havent wheeled much of my home state and this seems like a great meet with a huge turn out

I am very tempted to join you guys along. I do not have a CB radio though, will that be a problem? I do not want to commit yet so I will let you know when the date gets closer.

 

I don't think u will need one but it is recommended. Nice to have some sort of communication on the trail just incase there is traffic coming the opposite way. If we are on the reservation it will only be us.

 

I should re-phrase that I do have a cb radio, just dont have any of the components like the antenna and coax cable and antenna mount

I snooped around the past run..looks like a lot of dirty playing only. Will there actually be more trails or will it be more of a 'drive through dirt/sand back and forth' run?

We usually do trails in Pine Valley and Corral Canyon. I am sure there are trail here too but it's hard to get out and get pictures and videos...so most of the shots are at places where you can "Play around"

Gabe, I like your bike...I think once my bills are paid off I'm either gonna get a GSX-R600 or 750.

I wish it still looked like that. Its a full blown track bike now so it gets abused quite a bit. i think my next upgrade will be to a 750....best of both worlds

I had an 02 r6. Did a few track days back then. Love it. I would love to have a dedicated track bike.

750 yes best of both worlds. I like the 600 nimbleness but would be nice to have that 750 power.

Wurd!! haha hellz ya gonna be a good time. My buddy Will has an '86 landcruiser he's been itching to get out so he'll be tagging along. My buddy Ryan is a photography nut so we'll get some good shots. He would get along well with Jake (pandajerk).
