Update on Bastardo (or Sterling, as my wife calls him): Turns out that other than the tooth falling out, there is nothing wrong with either him or the tooth. Vets are baffled. They put him on antibiotics just in case but both he and the tooth appeared to be healthy. The only explanation I can think of is that the big dummy was picking on his little sister - the 7 pound female cat - and she beat the shit out of him.

    Good news!

I have seen a few of the smaller girls at our house open up some serious whoop ass on their bigger brothers. Don’t get them upset.

She’s adjusting nicely. She still gives a couple of growls here and there to the other cats but nothing too bad.
    She’s definitely a talker.

Yeah, she was pretty lethargic until we managed to get her abscess to come to a head and start draining.

Ouch. I've got a decent claw gash on my foot from one of our cats Mai Tai, he likes to under the bed and attack bare feet when they walk by too closely

Turns out there really is such thing a thing as monsters under the bed

It's hard to tell from the pic, but my hand is red and swollen from knuckles to wrist, and sore.

I was wondering about that, wasn't sure if it was just the lighting in the pic. That sucks, I've heard of that happening from time to time (cat scratches becoming infected). I get Harley riled up all the time to where he bites me playfully, usually a little roughly, but haven't had that happen yet
