D5F75269-3A1A-49D1-A419-ED736DF33B96.jpg PSA has the Shield on sale at $249. The Shield 2.0 is selling for $329. The only difference I can tell cosmetically is the grip on the 2.0 is better. Almost like grip tape. Decisions decisions :quickdraw:

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
from those 2 specifically in the pic, the one also has a thumb safety where the other doesn't.

I was looking at those yesterday on the PSA website. Will be making a trip by the Greenville store tomorrow to maybe pick up a lower for my AR15, but I might walk out with one of these, instead. Unfortunately I can't afford to do both this weekend.

Looks like we're camping at High Falls on Keowee this weekend. Can't wait. We haven't been to this park yet.

Both can come with or without thumb safeties. That’s a option.

I always go with a safety. Just gotta flip it down going up while you unholster your weapon.

I've heard of the park, but never been there.. Keowee is such a nice lake though. Should be a great weekend for camping too.

Don't forget there's a home game at Clemson tomorrow night and traffic will be awful.

We'll be coming in tomorrow afternoon down 183 from Travelers Rest, so hopefully we'll be okay, but thanks for the heads up!

Having shot the first gen a lot and owning the 2.0 now, I prefer the 2.0 and honestly feel it is worth it (unless you intend to replace the trigger with an Apex one anyway).

The standard trigger on the 2.0 is much better.

1 in every 5 gas stations in Deland also likely has had a special appearance on Live PD.

I though you could get no safety on all the M&Ps. The safety is just an option for those that want one. Who would want that though.

Speaking of guns y'all see where Colt is stopping making the AR and going to concentrate more on wheel guns and 1911s

Colt has enough business with supplying the military they don’t need to make AR-15’s for public use. Shit they will always have the M-4 contract with equals millions of rifles.

Ok just making sure. Pretty much all I see (big box stores) are the ones with. I don't own but 2 smiths and they are both 1970s wheel guns.
They lost that contract years ago bro. HK has had that contract for the past 3 yrs or so. From my understanding is they are getting rid of the whole division even military and LE. Colt has fallen prey to the age old problem of resting on their lorels and not keeping up with the times.
