    I've thought about adding a mesh screen behind it for that reason, keeping bugs and debris out.

    Got the upper nut on. I removed the lower stud/nut and it gave me enough room to get it. There’s a stupid sheet metal bracket that scratched the shit out of my hand but no pain no glory lol.

    The snorkel should work with the 2.7 too, I believe the stock air intake is similar enough... @BartMaster1234 has a 2.7l and bought this snorkel but he hasn't put it on yet
