Thanks man. Looks like the new stage 1s don’t come with resistors though.

 

MESO does not include resistors from the get go as his testing showed most vehicles don't need them. If they are required for your specific case, just contact him, he'll get you sorted.

Please note the resistor shown above is not the resistor you'll use with the new stage 1s, you'll use the large black resistor shown in the stage 2 picture. I still need to mount mine permanently, just iffy because I may get bed stiffeners so I don't want them to be in the way of the bolts

 

Got my 1.5's in today. Install was a BREEZE. Didn't even need instructions. Everything worked the first time too (didn't know if polarity might be an issue or not). Great product!

It is actually two. The third bolt does not secure the tail light assembly and does not have to be removed.

i think my truck may be the Unicorn on this install....As everyone noted install is a breeze and they look nice. Mine work as designed but have the hyper flash...when useing turns sitting, moving etc. No other issues and no worries as resistors will cure. Funny as I left them in since had a 25 mile drive with little traffic on side roads. Figured put regular bulbs back tonight. A state trooper was apparently a ways back and noticed when i made about only turn on this trip....he was a nice guy and just pulled next to me on shoulder at a light asking whats up with the yellow strobe for signals!! lol

 

any way you could post a video? interested in seeing what the hyper flash looks like

 

Instead of a steady (one-one thousand-two one thousand) common flashing speed, hyper flashing is much quicker (one-two-three-four) if you want to see it happen on a stock truck/set up just remove one of the flasher bulbs. The system will think one of the bulbs has blown and will alert you by hyper flashing....

 

This should show the hyperflashing you requested. Just wait until the left turn signal activates.

 

You are correct in the video is spot on for the hyperflash.

 

Just got my TTL-S1 today Super quick and easy install! FYI - You only need to remove 2 (the upper and lower) bolts on the tail lamps. These things are @MESO all the way - SUPER BRIGHT I'm 110% satisfied and you will be too!!! This is how the taillights SHOULD have worked out of the factory...

Update,
It seems that some users are experiencing hyperflash when activating the turn signal(usually 1 side, could be both) STAGE 1. if that is the case, do not worry, just PM me and I'll send out a Resistor for you(they are VLED's and I will cover the cost) Also, I am finding out most every case will have the hyper flash WHILE in reverse. At first I thought it couldn't be tamed, but I have been activity working on a solution. Sent some resistors out to testers and it seems to fix the problem. So now I am working with my factory to include a plug and play resistor with all kits going forward. I want this to be as simple as possible installation wise, and also work like factory. So stay tuned!

That resistor solved all my hyperflash problems, even while reversing with signals, so chock that up as another successful test.

Can't wait to see what you come up with for future buyers. Hell, can't wait for those flip fobs....grrrr.

 

Finally done with my install. I recieved the harness about a week ago. But I started experiencing the hyperflash on the left turn signal and @MESO sent me a resistor. That fixed the first issue. Then I started having problems with the right turn signal flashing both white and amber when signaling to the right. Meso again went out of his way and sent over a replacement light. Then I noticed that my right signal was hyper flashing when in reverse. But my left signal was perfect because Meso provided the resistor. So to fix the right signal I called up VLeds and ordered another resistor to install. I didnt want to bother Meso anymore. He's helped out so much and provided more assistance than I expected. I honestly wouldn't mind paying out of pocket for the resistors. Meso has always provided top quality products. After a week, everything works perfectly and it was worth the wait. Hopefully Meso will wait a few weeks before he releases another product. Gives me time to save up some money again.
