How long did it take to install the MESO LSP7 including wiring up all the switches? Im worried that I'm not too handy when it comes to electrical stuff?

Would it be easier installing the Switch Pro 9100?

IDK. The switch pro wiring scares me. :D And, I don't want to mess with the firewall anymore after @dilbert 's adventure.

I only removed the head unit trim and HVAC panel to do the install. The stock switch panel can be carefully hacked out with a utility knife. So about 1.5hrs?

The switch wiring is pretty easy. Some of those I added over time, like the dual USBs on either side and the 2LM. The garage door, aux light, and rear camera are still not connected. I got tired of looking at the blanks when I popped in the 2LM. The actual switch connections are easy as pie. I just need to get the illumination figured out. You just tap another switch harness.

Also, I'm still not happy with the range on my old garage door remote. I soldered to the back of the microswitch. That works no problem, but I have to be almost against the garage door for it to open. Since, I replaced some capacitors to fix our TV. I am getting brave enough to solder to traces on the better remote. We'll see!

Both times that I was in there just about to get 'er done, I was pulled away. The cool part is that you can put everything back together in a couple minutes. Just an easy area to access.
