I couldn’t resist..... taste just like a slightly stronger 107. I’m glad I paid retail. This is a great drinker but definitely not a top shelf pick. CYPB IMO is better

Wow never knew this thread existed! Here’s my collection that I started putting together. I Just came back from Ireland. Went to the Jameson Distillery and it was pretty awesome. The black barrel they sell in stores/export is only 80proof. I was able to bottle my own black barrel at Jameson and what’s crazy is that it’s 120proof and damn good.

We also got to stop over at the Bushmills distillery. Our private driver had us bypassed the tour itself and go straight to tasting. Decided to do their Aged flight and everything was delicious! I ended up buying a bottle of their single malt 16 yr.

Also saw a Chivas regal aged 18yrs in Japanese oak at the duty free in Canada. Never saw it before so it seems to be new. Had to add it to my collection.

If y’all ever get the chance to go to Europe, I recommend going to any distillery. It’s definitely a memorable experience.

Anyone a fan of Stranahans/been to their snowflake release? I just finished one of two bottles from two years ago. Some of my favorites.

Nice. I'm going in October, the GF and I are traveling over there for our anniversary. Flying into Glasgow, I think, and then renting a car and driving. Islay is a 'must visit' for me

Scotland is such a beautiful place! I’m just bummed I didn’t get to go to any distilleries. We were at Loch Lomond waiting for our bus to arrive and 5 mins before It was time to go, someone from Loch Lomond Distillery comes out to offer a free whisky tasting. I had no idea there was one there because it was so tucked away! I was super bummed but that’s the woes of traveling on a cruise ship(limited port time). I guess that gives incentive to go back lol
