    Maybe most but not all...

Work at the #1 ranked hospital in the US for ~20 years since I retired from the Navy. Have seen a lot and I mean a lot of healing in the hospitals. Where I work.

When my youngest was diagnosed with advanced stage 4B cancer they gave him a 40% chance of making it. He made it. Was long road and he went through hell. Once you get cancer you always are in remission. Not healed. Watched them save his life at least 4 times. And a lot of older people get healed while he did.

    There is hope.

Just take my damn money out of my paycheck every month. Your son with advanced Stage IV is worth it. With a normal PET scan a year and a half later.

He has issues it has been a long struggle and still going on. Mental can be as rough as physical. But never want to look at this shit again.

When they think you are ready to check out for good they don't even make you change into hospital gowns.

Yes there are issues with insurance and billing. Big believer in State rights and no way the Federal government can fix the issue. From experience.

We take full Medicare payment in Mn. But only state residence for Fl. and Az. Cause we have to keep the lights on. Tricare and Champus are a joke or rather a painful insult for those of us that are retired military. Payment is only a small portion of what the actual cost are. But are regulated by the government. Did I mention we have to keep the lights on? Or at least Revenue Cycle says so. The VA has switched to Veterans Choice. We don't accept it. Can't. Not if we want to keep the lights on....

    It is a mess.

Well pull those big boy pants back on :p Have to agree your welcome was not the best...

Reminds of the days of Arpnet and Usernet before that Al Gore fellow discovered the internet. Flaming posts everyone of them and don't miss those days. Most days this is the best thread on TW. Get your arse back in here! Don't think you will be disappointed...

Well Andy they don't call me /threadkiller for nothing :D

Why would you be a thread killer? Posts like this make the rest of us realize that maybe we bitch way too much about ourselves when there are those out there suffering much more that we ever might and sure as hell ever want too. It is people like you that bring us all back down to reality. The reality that we should see and not ignore. God Bless your son. I will remember him in my prayers, and you too.

I have a lot of vinyl. None of it is unplayed. I had to get a new turntable a few years ago to play them again. There REALLY is something about playing the discs on the phono. I missed a lot when digital music took over.

How about come on in, introduce yourself, learn about folks on here and not jump all over a well known member, with well known intentions, before attacking him?

    I was. I admit that.

This one very new and appeared to be more of a troll. I'm thinking... troll. You don't start off with your 3rd post on TW, in the 50+ thread, with a :censored: post. Aaaand then flip us all off!

Ice cream is healthy food. My doctor told me. It helps my bones because my meds can affect bone density.

Don't the Japanese eat bamboo. I need to look that up. They live longer than sea turtles. Not kidding either.

It wasn't that bad of a comment.... Probably could have been better, but we are all different and different things bother us differently.

Could very well have been a troll, but also could just not be politically correct all the time.... I didn't see a post that was that bad..... but :notsure:
