Oh they are finally doing something with the ghost town neighborhood.

 

Its all going to be connected so you can be anywhere in LA and take the train system to the airport. You might have to hop on one or two different metro rail lines. This is all in preparation for the Olympics and World Cup.

 

Yeah that has all been tore down and Lot C will no longer be there. The transit terminal will be the biggest airport parking structure in the US.

 

I know they are planning on extending the Green Line into Torrance but last year were getting push back from Lawndale

Like the central parking / rental car / etc ..

Parking is such a mess at LAX. Had to park in the central parking for a week and half last time I went to Japan because Lot C was FULL and I wasn't familiar with the locations of the other lots. That was an expensive parking bill.
Unfortunately for that trip its not like I could UBER it with 4 adults and two kids that need car seats.

Anyway all sounds like good improvements. Hope it actually gets done in time and isn't out dated by the time its done.

We have a wonderful track record of infrastructure improvements that take a decade to complete and didn't take into account the increase traffic @ the time of completion. ** cough 405 cough **

 

Yup it’s going to be this huge building where everything will be at, parking, rental car, metro bus, Uber/Lyft/Taxi will have it’s own level, metro rail. Thing will be massive. It will definitely alleviate all the parking issues. Now the traffic I’m not sure of. Will be traffic just not as bad.

It will get done in time because I personally hear about everything that goes down here. And if the contractors aren’t on time they simply go to the next contractor that will get it done. So they aren’t going to give up making all this money. My worry is I hope it’s not all torn up by the time the Olympics come to town.

bro, gotta get maximum traction over obstacles, more rubber on the ground the better right? speed bumps and driveway entrances can be tricky. atrac won't always save you unless you use the lightbar too.
