HELP HOW TO REMOVE TOYOTA EMBLEM.?

    Hey,

    so i wanted to remove the Toyota emblem in the grille of the truck and paint it black chrome to go with rims (not a fan of chrome) so i was wondering if it just pops off or how do u remove it?

    Replaced mine a while back but IIRC it just has clips that fit through slits in the grille... came off in about 30 seconds, and 15 seconds of that was because it was dark at the time.

    WHats IIRC? haha and alright cool. So i should just pop it off with a flat screwdriver or somthing? I dont need to remove grille or anything right?

    If I Remember Correctly....


    No need to remove the grille, although it does make it easier it also lengthens the job considerably. It should just pop off by pushing the retaining clips out of the slots with your fingers... it's plastic so doesn't need a lot to hold it on.

    reach back behind the grill and you'll see/feel the three tabs that lock it in place. Push on the two tabs and it should roll right out into your hands. The third tab acts more like a hinge that it swings in and out on.
