    In California. Just saying.

No you are just aging with grace like a good wine Chris

Not long after I was divorced checked out a company car. Forrester. With a PA that was half my age to go to NW Wi. Went to get in and had "loose" underwear on. Hit my nut sack on the corner of the seat getting in. Hurt so bad my head landed on the steering wheel and the horn went off. She immediately knew what happened and laughed so hard she cried tears.

Made a lot of comments on the trip. And in the hotel that night came to my room. My mother warned me that I would be ready to retire some day and not to get tied down with a younger woman so that I would be tied up North when the time came. My grandmother, aunts and sisters all tried to warn me about what is her name that I spent a quarter century with. Did it anyhow. I now listen to the woman folk in my family now, bit late.

Have to admit that I am a bit jealous of those of you that still have the "one". Yeah the oil tank in the basement with spiders might not be the best place to be. But at least you have that history that can not be replaced. Ever.

On the other hand wild sex at 50+ can be just that. Wild... Not all is lost. Yes it is. The history is lost and that hurts most of all...

I might post this because my sons can not reproduce after chemo. And the other will not because he is in the top 5% of OCD cases in the US. But in the last year has broke $100K salary if that is your goal.

OK will have to say up front am jealous...

    https://youtu.be/WArAyjr8dRA

But thinking I could marry into that world and like it. A lot.

Hanging in there Chris and wondering about you a lot especially this time of year.

You have done good IMO. Very good. Worried about how things turned out with you and the fact you got screwed. Hard. But a Country boy can survive. Especially an Appalachian man. We always have and always will. Don't give a damn how the rest of the Country does it, we will persevere. Patton could be a country boy. And was home schooled. Lead me, follow me, or get the hell out of my way.

Proud of what you are doing brother.

Thanks Mike. I have my issues just like others do. Life keeps trying to run me over but I keep squirting out from under the tires. Yep we do know how to survive head to the hills and can damn sure provide for my family.

I take comfort in nature now. I am like you. Should have listened to everyone but did not. BUT, have three wonderful kids because of it. BUT, could have had the same three wonderul kids that look the same, that are the same with the right woman. I don't doubt God. I doubt me. Hate, worry, bygones........eat you up. Can't do those. Burns up what you have left in you. Looking back? That is fine. Gotta do that so that you can see the mistakes you made to see where you need to go. You are here, you are alive. You have regrets and anger. That only means you are alive and still willing to live for what you want. It is those that feel nothing that have given up. You will get there. Keep pushing.

I almost gave up on Batman movies after Clooney. I didn't even want to watch 'Begins'. I heard good things and finally decided to watch that one. It was genius. It is what got me back into it. Got my son into it too. Nolen is genius. Bale turned out to be perfect for the role.
    Affleck.... Not so much.

I like the scene where Bale first meets the chief. He is on the stair well outside the building. Do you have that one?

2003 was at the local track and was in the backwards /chain race. (I was backwards and chained) we had a red flag and everyone was stopping except 2 guys in caddies and they were swerving. Saw it coming and pulled my hands off the wheel and crossed my arms but he hit me a ton. Knocked my wrist back into the wheel. Hurt for over two years. I know the road. Lol

    Love the Crosstrek
Hated the Corolla couldn’t hardly get out. And the Crosstrek is better suited for us hauling dog crates around
