    This is exactly why I don't put any stock into those post which show the miles per gallon usage displays.
    A Taco may actually get 28mpg or such; but show me by fuel receipts, filled-up to the same tank level every time, and odometer readings. Then I can do the math.
    I want to say "...exact same tank level..." but the only true way of doing that is to fill it to the cap, and that is not recommended now days with these closed systems.

    My two cents.

    It's not that same shine you get like that goop some use is it? If it's like an ArmorAll shine that's what I'm looking for. I hate that shoe polish type stuff!

    Last time at the dealership they slopped that shoe polish crap on my tires and must have hit it with a buffer. That crap was everywhere. Told them it happened again we were trough doing business together. A real PITA getting off my fenders and bedsides.

    Sure but it's not one or the other IMHO. When tires start browning, I use a couple stiff brushes and a strong car soap solution. Clean them really well. Then spray them down with a good tire shine, let it soak for a bit, then wash them again. Tires look like new and no pimp tire shine.
