Let's chat a sec about your cell phone bill.......

I'm almost sick of paying $200 a month for 2 lines for me and wifey. (Verizon)

I don't use my Iphone (6s) for hardly crap, make call, some txt and surf internet if time allows....maybe one or two games on it, nothing exciting, stream Pandora when in the truck..

Wifey-uses casual, but likes to watch a crap ton of movies and listen to music alot....

We are usually on Wifi at home or work for both...have a 2gb plan and hardly go over unless on vacation or travel from time to time...

Is there a better solution out there? anybody have like $50/per line with minimal use?? Granted we are kinda older couple in our 40's so its not like a "life means device" but its just a casual use item that is getting expensive....maybe its just me....

What kinda monthly payments are you shelling out for celly phone??? We also live in Hawaii if that matters.

Sprint is a good deal cheaper than that

 

I have att and pay around 96 bucks a month for 2 lines. I was paying 85 a month then added her line for 10 bucks more. We have to share data, 2 or 3 gigs per month. If we go over, I think its 15 bucks per extra gig of data you use.

Yup, wife and I share a plan and pay no more than $60 each, so $120 a month. I'll have to double check but I believe we have an unlimited plan.

Do you have Cricket Wireless there? They use ATT’s 4G towers. About $45/mo each line. Are you military or first responder? ATT has a good program for that.

 

How much of that is your device payment? It looks like they have 2GB shared plans with rollover for $35/mo, plus $20/line for access. Meaning your shared plan should be $75 plus taxes and fees. Personally I prefer Verizon because I can be in some remote places and the other carriers never seem to work. May not be an issue on an island.

 

I pay $67 a phone with sprints unlimited data family plan, 4 phones total. It’s my original plan, I buy my phones outright through Apple. It’s only $10 cheaper per phone to not have data, non smart phone. Should be cheaper considering our tax dollars paid for the infrastructure.

 

I have Verizon and I’m an old MF with an IPhone X and an IPad. This is very expensive yet I can’t live without it so I just went and got a better job.

Wife and I have VZW and with the unlimited data plan we are paying $159 per month. OP, are you paying off an expensive phone or something?

 

At&t prepaid here. 8gb, unlimited talk/text, tethering, byod, no contract, $40/mo with autopay

 

Straight Talk $55.00 a month and unlimited talk, Text and Data. Runs on Verizon towers. And it’s 4g. And if you’re number is available you can bring your phone with you. There are also cheaper plans down to $25.00 a month.

It’s cheap and it does use ATTs towers.
The coverage is exactly the same.
I switched first to try it out, then moved the wife and kids over. You can even keep your old number.

 

nope, i have an old hand me down iphone 6 from my bro and she has a samsung...i need to re-look at this situation this weekend...

I'd understand if you had the newest iphones but this is just silly...
