So this comes with the new Entune 3.0? Don’t have to spend extra money on it or anything? Like it’s not part of the premium package or anything? As in need the hotspot?

I don't know the answer to that honestly. This is a Pro so it is fully loaded with everything. After I spec'd out an OR with all the options it was within $2500 of a Pro anyway so that's the direction I went. I don't intend to mod it much, if any so it made more sense that way.

That said, I think you would need the hotspot for the remote start to work.

You get multiple trials to use those features, afterwards it's a few $ a month or you can pay yearly.

But is this only included with premium packages and what not or is the hotspot available on all trims/packages?

According to the 2020 spec sheet (Attached, Pages 12-14) it's standard on all trims.

Ok guys. New member here. I’ve been reading for a couple of years.

I was set on a 2020 Taco. It’ll be my first truck. Then I rented a 2019 for a week and found the sitting position too uncomfortable over about 600 miles.

Decided to look elsewhere, and thought the Tundra would be the logical choice. There’s do aspects I prefer, but I really don’t like the gas mileage and how big it is. So now I’m back looking at the Taco, hoping the adjustable seat solves my main gripe.

Just curious, seems not many people consider the Tundra around here. The talk is of the Raptors and Rams. What’s the reason for that?

I’ll be hauling 2 young kids and we go camping.

Tundras are great. Rumor is the next gen Tundra in a year or two will have a more fuel efficient engine w turbo. I loved my crewmax, but it was too big for my parking garage at a new job, so I sold it. Great rig though. Go drive one. New ones have 38 gallon tanks as an option, which I'd highly recommend.

Just ordered a 2020 Tacoma TRD Offroad 4x4 SB cement in Canada. Got a little over a grand off and got them to throw in the OEM bed mat (1K deposit). Also test drove a 2020 voodoo blue offroad with premium package. Feel free to ask any questions if anyone is shopping around in Canada - Ontario

Transmission, how'd it feel? Notice any of the previous gen issues in this one? Also, have you had a chance to try the MTM or did it not have it? Lastly, when you back up, did the back up camera have the lines curve as you turn the wheels?

Transmission felt much smoother than the 2019 sport I drove a couple weeks back (admittedly they weren't in the same conditions, highway vs tight streets). I unfortunately did not think to try out the MTM (It did have it though) and I believe the back up camera did not have the lines curve as I turned the wheel but I may not have been paying full attention if I'm being honest here. To add: the power seats allowing you to move up and down made the seating position significantly easier to get comfortable in.

I have a Tundra. Bought it new in '13. I've had no issues with it other than a cam tower leak that was fixed under warranty.

It's a bit of a pain to park, but livable where I reside (Oklahoma) because everything is spread out. Owning a crewcab full size truck in San Diego when I lived there had me singing a different tune.

When I had 35's on it, I averaged around 12.5 mpg. On 34's now, and it'll hit 15 on the highway. But not easily lol

According to the 2020 Tacoma Owner's Manual it should have the option to turn based on the tires (only if MTM or PVM is installed)

Fair enough, I didn't get to spend much time in reverse so it's totally possible that it did turn based on the tires

I think the backup lines (and front facing lines, if I remember correctly) only turn if you are in full PVM/MTM/360* mode. If you just have the standard backup camera going, they don't, same as it was before.
