Modded it so much it turned into a 4Runner
It doesn’t hurt anything other than take up space that could be used for wheel travel

True, I agree with that. Without the plate my tires were digging in to empty space in the chopped mount especially when backing up with full lock. That's when I said screw this and welded the plate. I rather loose 0.125 inch clearance on to save these tires. I guess at the end of the day it is a matter of personal choice what you want to do :notsure:

Thanks, that's good to know. I'm trying to figure out what size tires I'm going with and 35s are tempting.

If you dont offroad often I would say go with 285s. I love my truck but I wouldn't suggest going that size unless you know what your getting yourself into

Do you have 13” or 14” coils on your coilovers?

I thought you might be interested in this thread. I read through the whole thing and didn’t see you in here so I thought I’d give you a holler. Your truck fits the bill I believe you are on 35’s now isn’t it?

I have read through this thread for about a year now, gathering info from you guys, and finally pulled the trigger. 35’s on OME BP-51’s, no rub (after a deep CMC). Going to need some gears!
