    True, I agree with that. Without the plate my tires were digging in to empty space in the chopped mount especially when backing up with full lock. That's when I said screw this and welded the plate. I rather loose 0.125 inch clearance on to save these tires. I guess at the end of the day it is a matter of personal choice what you want to do :notsure:

    If you dont offroad often I would say go with 285s. I love my truck but I wouldn't suggest going that size unless you know what your getting yourself into

    I have read through this thread for about a year now, gathering info from you guys, and finally pulled the trigger. 35’s on OME BP-51’s, no rub (after a deep CMC). Going to need some gears!
