All my fittings were push-to-attach types. I thought you pulled the lip of the fitting to remove, but I could be wrong.

You have to pull the lip ring evenly to release the tube.

In my experience, just relax, take a short nap, and the hose will just kinda shrink back and slide right on out.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here that has posted information about installs, tips, and photos. I installed these today on 2013 DCLB SR5 in a couple hours, avoided a few headaches, and feel happy with the results. Next up is installing a set of front strut/spring assemblies off a 2019 TRD Off-Road I picked up. It seems like it should be very doable as well, mostly unbolt, plug in, and bolt.

    Thanks!

Don't know what effect you're looking to achieve, but don't get rid of your old suspension right away.

It doesn’t replace the suspension, just the bump stops, or were you referring to the front suspension parts?

2006 TRD Sport with the rear leaf TSB, any issues needing the extensions? I see the later models have a 1/4" gap, not sure if the leaf spring TSB affects that.

I had to add the extension brackets (cut to fit) and grind the corners near the shocks for clearance. They work great! I ran the valves through the license plate bolt holes. Also daystar puck floating bag system.

Being that there are multiple configurations, don't buy the extensions till you try it for fit. You might luck out and not need them at all.

Wow! Just finished reading all 31 pages (yes really, over the course of like 3 days). Lots of good information here. I'm thinking of getting the bags and likely new shocks soon after. I have the 5100s up front at the highest setting and the rear is just below level. I also just bought a four wheel camper and it sits pretty low (only about 1" travel left) so i need a little "pick me up" I want to avoid doing this twice and I've seen that a couple of people have done bags for a little bit of lift and then gone to a set of springs while keeping the bags (@Pigpen). Wondering if I should go straight to springs instead since you can get the OME dakar set for 1000lbs of load...wondering how rough the ride might be unloaded with those though. The ride rites have the distinct advantage of being adjustable, but you can't have everything of course

Man, this install kind of sucked being by myself with just hand tools. Those lock nuts and either long bolts or little room with nobody to hold backup was a bit frustrating. I did have to weld up some extensions since I have the leaf spring TSB. The gap was slight, but it was there. For peace of mind I went ahead and welded up the extensions. I didn't try to contour them to the rear end, just straight across.

Had leaks on both side but I think I tracked it down to the schrader valves.

I have 15 psi in them now since that's as low as my pressure gauge goes, but they'll go down to 5-10 once my new pressure gauge gets delivered tomorrow.

I have the towing package so I ran the air lines and plumbed them to the trailer light hookup.

Good job on the install, I can’t imagine doing it without power!

If you are planning on any offroad adventures, look into the trailer plug relocation brackets. Best insurance I’ve bought in a while.
