    Favorite quote from the second video at 21:14 (out of context): "I love my drawers!" ...a few seconds later.... "and put it into my drawers."

    Sorry. I have childish and immature thoughts at times.

    Only quoted you so that you'd get a notification.

    What kind of gas mileage are you getting with those 285s and all that weight? Are you running factory gears or have those been changed?

    Factory gears.... And you won't believe this but 15.5 -16.5. I manually calculate so it's not that BS the dash tells you. I'm shocked actually, but I do drive like an old man. I don't floor it and I don't go crazy fast either.

    Did you count in the tire size difference into your miles driven/those numbers? (larger than stock = higher speed/more distance than indicated)

    @rkam

    Yeah, I think the swingout is my favorite too. I found myself looking at HC bumpers w/ swingouts yesterday...though, I don't care if someone else has the same design.

    Good to know on the mileage. I'm at about 16-17 and only one size smaller tire (265/70/17). I did not calculate the difference in tire size because the factory speedo was always a little slow compared to my actual. I figured that (at least in my truck) the 265/70 gives me an accurate speedo reading. I also have an UltraGauge to help with the calculations. I want to step up to 285s when the time comes, but I don't want another punch in the wallet everytime I stop at a gas station. (I got 20.5 consistently when stock)

    I'd say the only punch in the wallet would be the cab mount chop and however much more those tires are. given that my truck is definitely over its weight limit and I bet you aren't or not nearly as much as I am (your home is probably not in your truck), you won't notice any real difference at the pump. I say go for it when it's time to change your tires .

    All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    Here are my thoughts.
    They are sticking out too far, they need to go in further. Several inches.
    Make sure you have at least two inches of door opening, 3 would be better from every part of the door.
    Use 4 kickers to mount to solid plates.
    Lastly make mounting plates and bolt those jammers on.

    And grind those welds down. If your gonna put the time in, make it look nice. Just my .02
