I suppose I worded that poorly...she made the pillow per my dimensions wanted to fit the truck

OK. That's better. Your mom giving you her wedge pillow would be a little...odd

Not exactly LT related but, general question to those who know better than I:

Sadly, a couple years ago I picked up a j66 pack and now it has sagged a bit, definitely flat, maybe slightly negative.

College budget and saving for links, I’m thinking I could bandaid fix my j66 pack with an AAL, either a single wheelers AAL or a progressive 3pack one to replace either a similar length single leaf or the bottom couple leaves.

    Plausible idea?
Goals are a little more lift and to get by until I pull the trigger on real stuff in 1-2yrs.

Deaver only charges $100 a side last time I called. Almost nothing when comparing North County and other places.

But are you really compressing the spring? If you add one inch of preload what is stopping from having an inch more of shaft? The bottom of the shock isn’t stuck in place so it’s not being squeezed and it’ll push the shaft out more. Only adding more weight will change how much the spring is compressed

How’s it ride with minimal weight in the bed ?

If you’d let it go for (EDIT: < LESS THAN) or = to $300 I’d entertain the idea

So I picked up a used older style camburg 2wd kit for my 02 and was planning on just moving the shock mounts since my truck is 4wd. I went to mock up the kit today and found out the camburg ucas are wider than my TC stock length ucas. So my options here would be to cut out the uca double shear brackets and get a new set and weld them in for the camburg ucas, cut the bushings off and go heims, or machine down the uca to the size of the TC uca to allow room for the bushings.
Thoughts on which option would be best?

Just cut and re-weld the double shears
