What if the car came with it stock. I had Z28's that came with them and my daughter had a 2012 Shelby that came with one.

 

For the drain, try looking at the "FUMOTO -

$42 F103SX : New Generation Fumoto® Valve with 12mm-1.25 Thread Size

F103SX" adapter! I put it on, on the the last oil change and will be MUCH easier on the next change. IMHO. Locks in place so as not to open until you open it. there is an option to add a tube to it to let you drain DIRECTLY into a bucket or oil recovery receptacle! This is installed onto the drain plug hole. The black piece is the LOCK for when you are driving. Just pull it out and open the drain lever! NO OIL ON YOUR HANDS!!! Love it. Also, no bolt to drop into your oil recovery can. I also have a 2017 4X4 V6 auto. Good luck.

I have the

$37 F103N with LC-10 lever clip FN-Series Engine Oil Drain Valve, 1 Pack

F103N with the safety clip. Just plug up the hose and drains right through the skid plate. Love it. Went to an aluminum filter housing but that can still be a little messy.

 

I received my appoint confirmation from my dealer for the virgin oil change. I wonder if they’ll notice the faux pro grille and swapped out suspension

 

Don't know? But try to get with a California address. I have tried for several years. No luck. Were your vehicles new or bought used? Also might have to be with Toyota?

 

Both. But in VA. Bought one of my Z28's used from San Diego and had it shipped to me so that could have been aftermarket on that one. But it came from Cali with all legal Cali decals and the license plates.

 

They will put your filter housing back on with a impact gun and good luck getting it back off! Just say'in .

 

They will probably charge you an extra $20 to use the "PRO" oil and filter.

Painted the chrome surround on the grill black. I really like the look

 

Are you going for the chrome delete? Plasti Dip the grille?

 

I guess chrome delete, I didn't like the matte finish of plastidip. I used a duplicolor acrylic and duplicolor clearcoat.

 

Small world! My first F-body was a 94 in that same teal.

 

I bought that one with 63k miles on it. Widower was selling it. Was his wifes car. Really liked that one. Previously had a jet black built to an LT4 1995 6 speed and lost the clutch use of my left foot. Hated selling it but then I found the 1994 auto in San Diego and jumped on it. Was an excellent car. Even the leather was mint. That automatic was one of the toughest automatics I ever had.
