Well, I will try again, but come November, the veggie screen house turns into a plastic green house to overwinter the big pots. Next spring, new babies from cuttings.... and it all starts over.

If I have too many, I may provide for friends. Any barter probably good. Labor and water, and the cost of the pots.

That's kind of funny. Our neighbor across the street wanted the fallen flowers to make tea with. Not soon after, I saw Hibiscus Tea offered at Thundercloud Subs. Now, the wife picks up the spent flowers, and they are food for one her knitting group friends Tortoise!
We were married in Hawaii, hence my obsession with a Hawaiian plant I can grow here. I have too many in pots..... Grown and eaten our own pineapples too, three growing now....
    It's a strange world.

Two more sprinkler rotations to finish! But it's a great day when the Horns win!
And now I know why nurseries are disappearing, so if you want cool plants, find one and buy some plants. Plants good! Big box will not give you the experience you need.
Glad to see most everyone surviving up at HF Birthday Bash. I gave them a two line campfire song - I'm sure that they can do two lines - one involves BEER!

Definitely a strange yet fascinating world we live in. My coworker makes a fermented drink called tepache. Its made from pineapples, pretty tasty and refreshing. Almost like a light beer. Now pineapple is something i would love to grow

I tried the fancier methods. Started the good ones with the top of a Dole. After a year of being an entertaining plant, and a gecko home, it started to sprout, and freaked us out. Two weeks later, we had our own, and the mother plant gave two new shoots and a root baby (I need to repot!) The cut off top of our eaten one, is now a beautiful youngster. You could do it on an apartment balcony! With your Hibiscus, because I will bring you one.

Man - are your Orange trees "little" - like could grow in a huge pot? I'd give minimum two for one if not more. I have to move a sprinkler, but I will be right back. I have something for you on the TW you might like.

I have 6 back home at moms. 2 here at my place. The ones back home need to be repotted. I plan on keeping them in big pits that way it can hopefully produce mini oranges. aka cuties.

Took another heck of a run to save that one! Can't believe that Senior mistake, but he's not normally back there, and on defense, "you go for that ball". And he was beating his own head for doing that.
Glad to see you seem to have suffered only some scratching, and still have a new CV!
I have lots of Shiner Blondes for next weekend, because wife decided to go late to her party, and no one would touch my cooler. Oh well. I went.

    Prosit!

I like Free Tail, haven't had one I didn't like. I'm also a big fan of Karbach's Rodeo Clown, that 12.5% will creep up on you though.

Can't get any of the Karbach in Lockhart anymore. I LOVED Love Street, and was only found at Wal Mart, of all places. They quit.... have to go to other cities for adventure, so I am glad I found out I really like Shiner Blonde! Good on cals and carbs! Stuff you could not get, with a completely different flavor (good), was St. Archer Gold. Austin area a test market - not here, but found in Kyle. That does NOT taste low cal or carb at ALL!

Cuties are ideal, and sound like fun! I am game! We'll work it out before next SA meet up.
Now I haven't been thrilled with my summer veggies, so I haven't posted in a while, but here is a good TW thread - just remember where everyone is. But it's fun!
