I'd rock it. Wouldn't be the first yellow car I've owned.

Oil change 165,775 and lubing my caliper pins. Get to play with my Labor Day sale new toy. I'm also inspecting the pads and rotors on my wife's subaru to see what she needs. The woman has never downshifted in her life. I'll use the paddle shifters to slow the car and I get a "What are you doing?!"
After this it's homemade pizzas on the 800F pizza kettle. Working for the weekend...
    It's got some lifting power

    I'd die.

So does your P.D. need more guys or something? Doesn't sound like these are extra road work shifts.

So, since it's a slow morning I'll tell the story of our couple yesterday...or should I say the tragedy.

This was a small wedding from the start, 88 guests invited, good caterers, vendors and nice details all well planned. Very nice couple from CT.

Tuesday, the groomsman and his long time GF are out on a moto ride, he's right behind her, tree branch falls randomly and hits her in the head, she dies right in front of him. Funeral ends up being same day as wedding 3 hours away. Bride and Groom are torn up as she was good friend of them also, trying real hard to put on the smiles. Guest count drops to 68 because of all people going to funeral instead. Tough call, but obvious choice.

Friday, company out of Boston drops off all the rentals, we check them in the afternoon for set up..no linens or silverware. Can't come back in time for wedding.

Luckily, caterer runs a restaurant in Pittsfield and has extra linens and silverware, only downside is the bride had colored nice stuff picked out, restaurant just does stock white stuff for their own in house stuff. Either Way, better than nothing.

Saturday morning around 3 am: Phone call from house/dog sitters. Dog ran away last night, haven't been able to find him or see him. Dog and Groom are best friends, never been apart more than a day, hunt, work and play together. Almost cancel entire wedding, but dog sitters call and let them know they saw the dog, he just won't come to them.

So we pushed through, the weather was beautiful and everyone who made it had a great time. But the Bride and Groom did not spend the night and left to go find the dog, hopefully it will come back once groom gets there. It's a bloodhound and seems to be searching woods they hunt for him.

OH, one bridesmaid also in bad accident recently, can't walk, broken leg. Another guest also broken leg from random car accident.

Total nightmare surrounding it, all vendors kicked ass and made it a great day, and the weather couldn't have been better....but a heavy day for a lot of people there.
