Joe at Black Rock Machining who made these is 5'-9" on a good day and he loves his, so do a lot of other folks that are sub 6'. If you're are lacking support under your hamstrings/glutes then these will help.

Between this thread and this thread (2nd gen but same block/seats), I think you should be able to find your answer.

    Hope that helps,
    Steve

Just ordered a set for my 2019 OR. I’ve been having some really serious knee and back issues stemming from the seat position. Bad enough that I’ve actually considered possibly going with a different truck. Hoping this will take care of the issue.

Thanks for the order George, you should get yours on or before Saturday. BTW, I have family in Las Cruces and have been meaning to visit, thanks for the reminder.

You're not the first person who's considered selling due to lack of comfort, I hope this cures what ails ya.

Got it, shipping this morning and with any luck you will have on or before Saturday.

What’s the point of the two threaded holes?

I’m on the fence about ordering these. I have an hour commute but no real discomfort. It’s the long drives, 2+hr that cause some leg and back pain.

The holes are for a future accessory board.

Regarding comfort, these seem to do the trick for a lot of people. I think they're great but I'm a little bias.

Ah ok that’s what I figured they were for. I just got a fire extinguisher and though that'd be a good place to mount it.

I’ll place an order soon :)

    Steve,
I just ordered a set. Can’t wait to try these, I travel about 250 miles per day and have lower back issues. I have the ones for the back of seat (which made a big difference) and hoping these added will help even more.

    Thank you,
    Scott

Received mine on Wednesday and installed them today, took all of about 5 minutes. Definitely a difference in the seating position and more thigh support. I’m 5’11” and didn’t notice any issues with headroom. No need to look for a 2020 now. Thanks for the awesome product.

    Received - fast.

    Installed - easy.

I didn’t have a particular problem that I was solving but I find the seat to now be generally more supportive and comfortable. Thanks !

For what it’s worth, I’m 6-1 and have no head room issues.

I know it seems high for such a little part. These are made on a CNC mill so the price has to factor in labor, machine cost, tooling, coolant, plus the other overhead it takes to run a machine shop. Also most company's are for profit so there's that. So really I think it's a good price for this part. I'm not trying be be an ass, I understand some people don't know what it takes to manufacture parts like this.
