So I wasnt sure whether to post this in the Build forum or not. Its not a build....Yet.

Project: (Darth)Mauled Tacoma. Going for a red/black combo

I have a bone stock 09 Red Tacoma 4x2 Regular Cab. Here are a list of mods I was thinking about. Please feel free to share your opinion/thoughts, and also looking for some direction on where to buy these things.

*Grille: wanted to do Black mesh grill with no toyota symbol
*Windows: Tinted, wanted it pretty dark without being illegal
    * Exhaust: Magnaflow exhaust. Want a nice non-rice tone to it
*Taillights: Thoughts on the Black LEDs? Or would smoked look better?
*Headlights: I like the the black background headlights. Anybody know what I'm talking about? I wanna say they were halos
*Wheels: Here's my biggest dilemma. I was thinking about getting some X-Runner wheels and painting them black, but I think that a tire/wheel combo that would fill the fenders in a little bit more and make it look meaner. Thoughts? Would A/T's be a smart choice for a 4x2?
*Misc: T-Rex eyelids. Love em? Hate em?

    Thanks for all your help!

Haha thanks! Also thinking about doing a cover. I like the one on TDK's, but not sure what it's called?

Got any pics of how it sits now? It's a five lug base model with the black trim? Grille and tint definitely sounds good to start off with. Headlights, personally, I'd go for the black headlight mod or get the aftermarket ones that already come like that. The projectors with the halos give it the ricer look, I think. If you are pretty crafty and like the challenge, building a set of retro fit HID lights would be the shizzle. As for taillights, I think tinting them would look better and require less effort than trying to open them and paint the housing black - although this has already been done, search around for pics. Exhausts, I'm still up in the air myself. I'd like to hear them in person because videos online don't always do them justice. TRex eyelids can look good but I'd add those on last as accent pieces. Wheels, the XRunner ones look good but not sure on fat tires. They're really made to look good with a street tire. Get some pics!

sorry to many windows open and posted in the wrong one, btw the legal maximum tint isn't very dark, but take it to the max on every window it the combined effort that will make it look good.

Heres a pic of the day I got her. I'm leaning towards smoking the tailights. The Xrunners would be on thin tires, but the option is a black rim on some A/Ts or a fatter tire. Just a thought. Anybody know the cover that's on The Dark Knight's Taco?
