Got rear-ended, OEM rear bumper scratched and hit real good. Good quality cheap bumpers on the marke

As the title states, 3 weeks into my brand new '19 quicksand tacoma I got rear-ended by a meth head with no insurance.

So i'm currently looking at some bumpers, and I dont think I can find a decent one that isnt atleast $900, any tips? I'd like a bumper like:

where theres some LED lights in the back, anything like that thats a little bit cheaper?

I love my RCI hidden hitch rear bumper. Got it from truckbrigade.com

But yeah, it's about $1100. You'll be hard pressed to find a "quality" aftermarket bumper less than $1000.

I think there are some cheaper options on eBay, but you get what you pay for.

Ideally you'd want a meth head with insurance to rear end you.

You’ll have to get rid of your TSSBSS back up blind side BS for most aftermarket bumpers.

You have insurance right?
I'd get it to a good collision shop, and make sure there's not more damage than just the bumper.

I picked the Fab Fours rear bumper at a 4 Wheel Parts truck and jeep fest a couple of years ago for just over $650. They were selling them for 15%-20% off and free shipping to local store. Worth checking out if they have one in your area.

 

Where are you located ? I have the stock 2019 chrome bumper that I removed to put on my RCI bumper

Wait really? What exactly is the back up blind side? You dont mean the back up camera do you?

 

The sensors in the bumpers, don’t know the name. They’re on 2018+

 

When it's turned on it beeps when something is coming from the side while you are in reverse. Works well if you are next to an SUV you can't see past so you know it's clear to back out.

Does the SR5 have it? I haven't heard any kinds of beeps when someone flies past me when I cant see them lol
