    @scary_larry

    Here are the finds I was talking about...

    The charm pendent I found at the church function and my mom was there (first time she was present while I was metal detecting)... Like I was telling you and your girl, I was tripping out because it was at a church function, my mom just happened to be there, and it was at a local park (i.e. every day type park). The point being is that it could have been ANNNNNNYTHING ELSE (i.e. if one has ever MD'd the chances are fairly small of finding certain things, especially something very specific)!!! Right??? But it just happened to be a religious piece to be found at that moment!!! :thumbsup::fistbump::pray: I also have to add in that I wasn't swinging the coil very long AND it was roughly 4-6in deep... meaning it has been there for quite some time!!!

    Anyways, a VERY SOLID "dime signal" it was giving off
    StChristopherSilverCharm_June_24_2012_front.jpg

    StChristopherSilverCharm_June_24_2012_back.jpg

    About 2x weeks later, after I found that religious charm, this is what I was talking about that I found at the high school and my co-worker/friend... HIS friend, just SUCH a douche bag and a DI**HEAD, was giving me crap about, "you're not going to find anything... blah blah blah". Anyways, I found this within roughly 20min just in time for them to come back after their run around the track and when I yelled out, "FOUND A SILVER", and douche is like, "no way..." :smack::facepalm:

    SilverRing_1.jpg

    But yeah, show your girl when you get a chance of what I was trying to describe and HIT me up when you want to try the metal detecting and we'll set something up. I've got extra gear and here is the main setup I like to use...

    my typical gear setup

    just North of HB pier... LOVE that coil!!!

    Safe travels @CouchlessPotato it was nice to meet you and hope we can wheel again sometime? Your favorite thing to yell out over the radio, "YEAHHHHHHHHHH!!!" :facepalm::laughing::laugh::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

    ^^^ this guy is F'N NUTS, but COOL AS HELL!!!

    And, canNOT forget about the GREAT @Ozzy_Wuz_Here and that antenna was pretty damn sick dude!!! :thumbsup::fistbump: Btw, I forgot to tell you, try not to hold your radio by the antenna... especially with a small connector like the SMA that it has. They will typically SNAP "under stress".
    Safe travels to everyone!!! :thumbsup::fistbump::cheers:
