Must be getting old because I'm kind of really excited to use it

 

What kind?

 

Dyson v7 Motorhead Origin or something like that, it's the cordless one.

We've been through two <$100 vacuums in the last 2 years, either the battery craps out and won't hold a charge anymore or it just can't handle all the pet hair anymore despite taking them apart and cleaning them.

Figured it was time to step it up. This was one of the cheaper Dyson models too. Some of them are nuts

 

I made my driveway look even sexier

 

The reason I was hesitant is because my air wasn’t clean. I get a lot of moisture and oil in the line.

 

I found my Dyson at the thrift shop for a whole $30 haha

 

That thing looks like it's from 1990 lol

I almost got a top end refurbished Dyson from Amazon but the Amazon refurbished reviews were unsettling at best

 

This is what we had in the 90s when I was a kid.

 

I do miss the reliability of a corded vacuum but with how small our house is the smaller battery ones just make more sense. The Dysons are supposed to stop charging when they're full so hopefully that lets it last longer than our previous two cheaper ones.

We always had Dirt Devil vacuums growing up but these days they don't really look like they've changed at all since 20 years ago

 

I lost my oldest German Shepherd this year to a heart issue. He was 13 yrs old. He always would find a way to get into our wood pile.
