    Hey all,

First question on here, and bear with me if this issue has been covered before... Got my 2010 supercharged tacoma a few months back, and had clutch failure this past weekend driving up to Big Sur. Got towed to the dealership, and they said it's the worst looking clutch they've seen in 40+ years of servicing tacomas. This clutch was installed under 10k miles prior, and just checking to see if anyone has any idea why a clutch would become so worn so quickly. Don't really offroad at all, but ride the truck a little hard from time to time in the city.

The stock clutch really isn't up to holding the supercharger, you'll want an upgraded unit. Most seem to favor products from URD. Even so though, your stock unit shouldn't have failed in 10k miles, that is ridiculously short. Does the supercharger have any mods?

Thanks brother, I'll dig through that thread. Nope, no mods. Got the full TRD kit installed at a dealership with 9k miles on the Tacoma.

Normally digging through is a good idea, in this case I wouldn’t bother though, just post your question in there. The group is super helpful and the go to place for supercharger related info. Lots of supercharge modding info in that thread.
