Brand New Voodoo Blue

New member, and as the title entails ive just hit my 3rd week of owning a brand new 19 TRD pro in voodoo. Got every checkbox and extra dumb thing im certain I wont need. Already went nuts on modifications and plan to crank that dial to full retard. Cant wait to absolutely ruin my perfectly functional truck due to lack of self control. Any comments, questions, concerns, complaints or recommendations on where to go and what to do first are welcome.

Going to spiff it up tonight and take a few pics, nothing wild so far but some cosmetics to make it a bit more of a special place to be in the cab. Aside from the red stitching and logo on the seats you wouldnt know if your sitting in an SR5 or a TRD Pro.

Over time it will progress into a monstrosity I waste every spare dollar on. Like every gun I own, I lack the ability to just leave shit alone.

Dunno why it posted some pics more than once. Thus far as you can see, it looks exactly like any other brand new 2019 TRD pro. I have several small cosmetic touches if you can spot them. And I'm currently supplying tufskinz with a sample of voodoo blue so their products will be available in that color shortly after.

Current mods are hakari 12000lm LED low beams. OVtune 93 octane gearlock. TRD intake with flow accelerator and secondary filter removed. Tacoma tailgate inlay. Front and rear signal tint. 4 front grill raptor lights. All tacoma and toyota symbols in cabin are blue. Blue cup holder inlays. Matte black vinyl stickers to cover the gay looking warning stickers, with blue TRD stickers on top. TRD pro center console coin holder. Arm rest cargo separator. Redline tuning elite hood struts. Red stitched leather steering wheel cover. Front seat risers. All interior lighting replaced with LED fyreflies.

On the way are more minor cosmetics. Rear cab brake light tint with TRD logo. Synthetic oil warning sticker. High octane only warning sticker. And random pieces of the tufskinz overlays in both voodoo blue, and raw CF. Doing a mock up with a program so I can see the different colors and placements so I can get just the right balance of making the cab look like it should have from the factory, without going overboard and making it tacky. Did the same thing with my 17 FoRS.

Did your truck come with blackout emblems or are those overlay? And if they are overlain where did you get them I need a good place to buy overlays.

 

Are you refering to the TRD pro badging on the tailgate? The "tacoma" on the tailgate? Or the headlight/tail lights?

Because in that order, the TRD pro badging comes blacked out factory. The black tacoma is an inlay. And the headlight/tail lights are dark grey overlay tint. I will look back through my purchase history and find who I bought the tacoma inlay from as it is BY FAR the best looking and best quality I have ever seen on any tacoma truck,but they were almost 100 bucks if I remember right. Where as most inlays are like 30. The light overlays are from importequipment.

 

Every little bit helps make the truck a much more special place. Just like the bullshit ford pulled with my RS, it felt like an SE on the interior. Basically just blue stitching and a couple RS badges. Toyota fucked the same hole, and the TRD pro feels like an SR5 with red stitching and some pro badged seats. So I'm slowly doing toyotas job for them one step at a time.
